Here is your chance to try something new in a supportive environment. Your day will be filled with dynamic moments, and you will have exposure to a wide variety of medical and surgical cases. There will be opportunities to learn and grow, as well as share your ideas.
We are a well-established (since 2002) progressive practice in search of an enthusiastic colleague (full time or part time) to join our passionate team of vets and nurses. Senior vets are happy to guide and mentor, and our vet to nurse ratio is 1:3, providing ample support.
We are offering an annual salary range of SGD55,000 to SGD145,000 (not yet including the variable Bonus), depending on experience, skill set and emotional intelligence qualities. Licences and CPE are financially supported.
We are looking for a team player with good communication skills, and who enjoys helping people and their animals. An experienced vet is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome.
Our principal is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne and has a special interest and qualifications in aquatic medicine. Other colleagues are proficient in surgery, ultrasonography and endoscopy, and always willing to share their knowledge. We are predominantly a small animal practice, looking after the more common family dog and cat, with the peppering of small furry, feathery or scaly patient, all of which makes for a colourful day at the office. The week can also include wildlife fieldwork, house visits, the oceanarium and fish farms.
Sonography is part of daily practice and we have an in-house sonographer.
Full time vets work a four-day week with very little after-hour calls. The practice is closed on Sunday and Public Holidays.
