Surgical Intern at Landon Veterinary Specialists

We are seeking a new colleague to be our Surgical Intern.

This job will suit the individual who wants exposure into referral practice. You will be working alongside an extremely experienced specialist surgeon and a team of dedicated surgical nurses. Ultrasonography and echocardiography are performed by our highly qualified sonographer. Our surgery has the support of a 24-hr ICU at Westside Emergency. Our practice is equipped with a 32-slice CT scanner, digital radiography, endoscopy, a full Idexx suite, and two surgical theatres..

At LVS, we highly value our work colleagues and there is a lot of support to train you and help you along your career. As an intern, you will be assisting surgeon during consultations, leasing with clients, scrubbing in for surgeries and assisting with anaesthesia.

We are seeking an individual with at least one year’s experience in general practice, has an enthusiasm to learn, a strong sense of responsibility, a brilliant team player with lots of initiative, and a wicked sense of humour.
