Specialist Dermatology Referral Services @ The Animal Clinic

Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to announce that Dr Nellie Choi will be providing specialist Dermatology Referral Services at The Animal Clinic.

Dr Nellie Choi completed her 3 year residency in California and passed her American College of Veterinary Dermatology specialist exam in 2018. During her residency she submitted case reports and most recently her publication was given an honorary mention for the Peter J, Ihrke Resident Research Award for research in clinical science at the North American Veterinary Dermatology Forum in Hawaii. Besides being a diplomat of the ACVD, she is also a member of the Australia and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. Her key interests are allergy management and resolving ear infections in pets.

Dr Choi will be practicing at TAC West Branch and will be available for consultations from 24 October 2019 to 26 October 2019. She will be available from 9am to 5pm for specialist dermatology consultations. Her consultations will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

– Referred patients will not be seen at The Animal Clinic for ANY condition outside the scope of the dermatology referral. Consultations for any other veterinary condition will be referred back to the referring veterinarian and/or veterinary clinic.
– Once diagnosed and successful management of the referred dermatological patient is achieved, the patient will be referred back to the referring veterinarian.
– A report will be sent to referring vets to keep them up to date with the progress of their referral patients.
