Seeking Experienced VETERINARIANS – Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Gelenggang)

Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Gelenggang) is one of the most established and well-equipped veterinary clinics in Singapore.

We offer both first opinion, referral, and after-hours emergency service for both medical and surgical cases at our purpose-built facility. We are seeking experience full/permanent part-time veterinarians seeking a change from the routine of primary-care caseload. This role will involve collaborating with senior colleagues in the management of referred cases, attending to after-hours and emergency consultations, performing routine surgical procedures and managing first opinion patients. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, committed to a high standard of practice and evidence-based medicine, and is able to work in a busy setting. They should also have good communication skills to liaise with clients, referring vets and colleagues. 

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration with the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) Singapore.
• Remuneration is set at $5,000 – $8,000 per month for full time position, depending on level of experience.
• Working hours are flexible and include overnight shifts.
• We are experienced in supporting veterinarians who are preparing for the ANZCVSc membership exams. Successful candidates have benefited from the regular journal clubs, case presentations and mentorship.

Our facilities include an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, rigid and flexible endoscopy, fluoroscopy, in-house CT and on-site MRI. Referral services offered include echocardiography, non-vascular interventional radiology procedures of the respiratory (trachea/bronchial stent) and urinary system (ureteral/urethral stent, SUB), advanced orthopaedic, neurological, oncological and soft tissue surgeries.
