Seeking Full Time VET TECHNICIAN/NURSE, RECEPTIONIST & VETERINARY INTERN – Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Gelenggang)

Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Gelenggang) is one of the most established & well-equipped veterinary clinics in Singapore.

We offer both first opinion, referral, & after hours emergency service for both medicine & surgical cases at our purpose-built facility.

Our facilities include an on-site CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, dedicated surgery, hospitalization area, ICU and critical care monitoring. Referral services offered at our practice include ultrasound, echocardiography, flexible & rigid endoscopy, non-vascular interventional radiology procedures of the respiratory (trachea/bronchial stent) & urinary system (ureteral/urethral stent, SUB), advanced orthopaedic, neurological, oncological & soft tissue surgeries.
We seek enthusiastic, dedicated & motivated individuals who are passionate about animals & able to work effectively in a team.

VET TECHNICIAN/NURSE
– Minimum Qualification: ‘O” level for vet nurse, Diploma/Bachelor in Vet Technology for vet technicians
– Experience in veterinary setting preferred but not necessary, as training will be provided
– Salary will depend on qualification (experience & level of education)
– Can work on weekends

RECEPTIONIST
– Minimum Qualification: GCE “O” / “N” / ITE level
– Experience in veterinary setting preferred but not necessary, as training will be provided
– Able to handle Mandarin-speaking clients
– Not afraid of dogs and cats
– Can work on weekends

VET INTERN
– Successful candidate will undergo a 12 month rotating internship program under the supervision of senior veterinarians with post-graduate qualifications in surgery & medicine
– Should have a veterinary degree recognized by AVA
– Able to work on a roster basis which may include overnight duties
– Primary responsibilities include assisting the senior veterinarians in consults and surgeries, active participation in case discussion and management, and weekly rounds
