Job Description:
As an Animal Rehabilitation Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our rehabilitation team in the care and recovery of the animals. Your role will involve working closely with animals of all types, including postoperative patients, injury, or trauma, and you will be integral in helping them regain their strength and mobility. This position will require the candidate to have some basic animal handling and strength to lift objects and animals. It is also crucial to be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment whilst providing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

A few responsibilities include:
– Setting up the facility, environment, or equipment for therapy sessions
– Assist therapists on a variety of physiotherapy techniques such as massage, hydrotherapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy.
– Ensure safety of the animals and observe safety procedures at all times.
– Housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of the centre for patients, clients, and staff between each session.
