Part Time Vet and Full Time Vet Technician/Nurse- Town Vets Animal Clinic

We are seeking an experienced full time veterinarian and veterinary technician to join our team of 6 vets and 12 support staff.

Your dedication will be integral in providing a top notch client experience focused on communication and animal care.

Veterinarian
Requirements:
At least 2 years clinical experience preferred. New/recent graduates also welcome for consideration. Support includes no solo duties and experienced support staff.

Continuing education and benefits are provided.

Veterinary Technician
You must be competent with inserting IV catheters, taking bloods, setting up fluids, radiograph and ultrasound positioning, or have a Diploma or Certificate in Veterinary Technology, Veterinary Nursing or the equivalent.

Your position will encompass a 5 day work week, or 44 hrs per week (inclusive of breaks), inclusive of 1:2 Saturdays. We are not open on Sundays or Public Holidays. Shifts will rotate through ward, surgery and lab.

Continuing education is supported and encouraged.

We have a lovely clientele and see an interesting and varied caseload. Equipment include digital x ray, ultrasound, IDEXX blood machines, IM3 dental machine, vettome, and tonopen. We have a separate cat and dog ward. You will have extensive interaction with our clients, and strong communication skills with a love for both people and animals is expected.
