Full-time Emergency Veterinarians – Westside Emergency

Here’s your chance to regain your sense of work satisfaction — Westside Emergency is looking for full-time and part-time veterinarians to join our team!

Established in 2018, Westside Emergency is a full-fledged emergency and critical care veterinary referral hospital, affiliated with Landon Veterinary Specialists. Open 24/7, we receive both referrals from general practices as well as after-hours walk-ins. The caseload is varied and exciting — we see anything from small skin lacerations to life-threatening acute presentations. Our current team of extremely experienced ECC veterinarians is more than willing to put our heads together to help each other out. There is a strong focus on practicing evidence-based medicine and the management strongly believes in continuous education for all our staff. We have all the facilities, specialists support and highly experienced and efficient veterinary paraprofessionals to allow our vets to perform the best evidence-based medicine.

Our full-time vets work only 6 x 12 hr shifts (rotating through days/nights/weekends/weekdays/PHs) a fortnight, with a maximum of 3 shifts in a row. Part-time applicants are also welcome and we are flexible with the rota.

We are looking for candidates who are team players with a willingness to challenge themselves. A minimum of 2 years clinical experience is required for established client communication skills.

If you feel daunted by emergency and critical care — Don’t be, as there will be plenty of support, tutorials and shadowing shifts until you feel confident enough. Wages start from $5000/mth depending on experience.
