Beecroft Animal Specialist Services is seeking passionate and enthusiastic customer service staff to join us at our busy new veterinary hospital in Alexandra.
Our hospital provides services such as emergency & critical care, surgery, ophthalmology, avian & exotics medicine, rehabilitation, Internal medicine. As customer service staff you will play an essential role in serving the hospital’s established clients and assisting referral clinics. The job role would consist of scheduling appointments, as well as liaising with referral clinics to arrange transfer of patients. You will be required to:
➔ Perform general administrative duties such as registration, directing clients, handling cash and card payments, and filing
➔ Manage all incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages
➔ Schedule appointments
➔ Daily balancing of cash receipts in the morning and evening
➔ Retail stock-taking, accepting deliveries
➔ Deal with customer complaints
➔ Liaise with Referring clinics. Organize drop-off and pick-up times for patients.
➔ Request records from referring clinics and attach them to appropriate files
➔ Tracking the pick up of lab samples to be sent to external laboratories, and making sure the lab results are attached to the patient’s file
➔Take animals to and from the front area to the treatment area
➔ Ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy at all times. Stocking and maintaining the refreshment area
Candidates must possess relevant work experience in the veterinary field .
Good communication skills are a must. Friendly team players with good work etiquette will be considered. Teamwork is important to us!
Salary starts at $2500 and up depending on experience (experience must be in the veterinary field)
