Brief introduction of the lecturers:
-Dr. Cedric Tutt – BVSc, BVSc(Hons), MMedVet (Med), Diplomate EVDC, EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Dentistry, Member of EVDC
Specialties: Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery – including equines, zoo animals and wildlife species and marine mammals.
Dr. Cedric Tutt works in Cape Town an provides a dentistry and oral surgery service on a regular basis in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, for domestic animals and wildlife. He also teaches at home and abroad, regularly.
He will talk about the examination of the oral cavity that may reveal findings indicative of an underlying systemic condition, such as distemper, primary hyperparathyroidism, lupus and more.
-Dr. Yi-Chin Tsai – DVM, MVM, Veterinary Dentist and Surgeon Superintendent at In-Aisa Animal Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan
-Veterinary Dentistry – An active small animal dentist (canine and feline dentistry) in Taiwan, with experience in the field of over 10 years.
-Small Animal Surgery – Specialty in Small Animal Surgery, certificated by Graduate Institute of Veterinary Clinical Sciences & Veterinary Hospital, National Taiwan University.
Dr. Yi-Chin Tsai works in Taipei and was the adjunct lecturer of Veterinary Dentistry & Oral surgery, Small animal surgery, Graduate Institute of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, National Taiwan University from 2012-2018. Dr. Tsai is the reviewer for the translation of many textbooks in mandarin version, and she also lectures for Continue Education in Taiwan and abroad.
She will let us know how to combine the clinical findings of physical oral examination, anatomy, and logical reasoning together in diagnosing occlusal issues.
