o For Vets: No CVA? We’re happy to discuss sponsoring your course fees!
o For Rehab Therapists/Assistants: Training will be provided
• Hours: 5-day work week
• Remuneration: Based on experience
• We are APPOINTMENT BASED only. No stressing at a waiting room full of impatient clients!
• Ample time for each appointment slot. No 15-minute appointment slots here!
What You’ll Do:
For Veterinarians:
• Provide acupuncture +/- rehabilitation services
• Conduct house calls (mainly for acupuncture)
• Limited general practice work
For Rehabilitation Therapists/Assistants:
• Assist the veterinary team with patient care, including assisting the vet during treatments.
• Assist with rehabilitation therapy for animals, including dogs and cats.
• Front desk duties, including greeting and assisting clients, answering queries and providing excellent client service.
• Assist with housecalls.
• Contribute to creating and posting social media content or other portfolios.
What We’re Looking For:
For Veterinarians:
• CVA Qualification: Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, or willingness to obtain certification (sponsorship available)
For Vets and Rehab Therapists/Assistants:
• Excellent communication skills
• Cheerful and approachable personality
• Team player
• Strong hospitality and client service skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Be physically fit, with the ability to safely perform manual handling and patient support as required in a rehabilitation setting
• Class 3 driver’s license is an advantage
