Veterinary Surgeon (Full time/Part time)

We are in search of an enthusiastic and experienced veterinarian to join our predominantly small animal clinic. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply.

The successful applicant will be joining a 7-vet team and will be well supported by a passionate team of nurses.
Case discussions are the norm, and we work up our cases as much as we can in order to provide the best available care to the patient and owner.
Specialist referral or opinion where required is straightforward and quick, and includes a US based radiologist.
We have good exposure to a wide variety of medicine and surgery cases.

We are after a colleague who has good communication skills, leadership qualities and is able to work well in a team.
He or she wants to advance with the clinic and is open to learning new things.
CPE is encouraged and financially supported.

The practice is well established and is purpose-built, spacious, with conference and rest areas.

We make full use of our equipment, which include:
• Full suite of Idexx blood machines,
• Ultrasound,
• Digital Radiography,
• Scopes (Rigid and Flexible)
• Cryosurgical equipment,
• Tonometry, etc

Veterinary Nurse (Full-time)
We are after an individual who has compassion for people and their pets, is a team player, and is customer service oriented.
They will hold at least a Diploma in a Science related field. Experience is preferred but not essential.
The successful applicant will have a mentor and will be trained on-the-job.

The job scope includes:

• Reception duties.
• Assisting the vets in their daily tasks, from consultations to anaesthetic monitoring.
• Hospital treatments, assisting in imaging, and running in-house laboratory tests.
• Maintaining equipment and stock inventory.
• Maintaining clinic cleanliness.
