Dr Griet Haitjema BSc BVMS MVS FACVSc Dipl.ECVA graduated from Murdoch University in 1986. She worked in both mixed and small animal practice in South Australia and completed a masters degree in veterinary studies in small animal medicine and surgery. Griet did her residency in anaesthesia and critical care at Murdoch University, is a fellow of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientist and a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia, and is a certified veterinary acupuncturist. She currently works as a Senior Registrar in veterinary anaesthesia at Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital and consults in small animal pain management.
